study for a cover of a book on collected ghost stories...

this one's strongly influenced by the survival-horror game Fatal Frame

I can definitely see the Fatal Frame in it--and like that good comment from your SH inspired manga--you do not copy, but merely build off the style and sensation that the game gives you. The ghosts appear to "lurch" at you, and I can get that from the position of the arm's and hand's movements. You also appear to work with a fair amount of contrast, which is also a big component of Oriental artwork in general, but is something greatly emphasized in the Oriental horror I've seen through video games like FFrame Crimson Butterfly. You can see the contrast between the smooth strokes surrounding the spector's arms and hands and the sketchy-ness of the shadows. You're not using color contrast in this one , like the previous few pieces. Good job! This would be great for a series of scene illustrations.
